Bearsfoot Leaf Woman
Raku sculpted wallhanging. Sold July 2008. Interesting story coming soon under storyteller shares associated with this. Similar pieces currently being created and available soon. Since I studied "The art and science of Herbalism" I learned of many plants used for their medicinal properties. My Teacher's Teacher had bearfoot plants that I tried to "acquire" for 2 years. He finally let me dig a few up and they grew taller than his in our garden! They are so beautiful that I could NOT pull them up for their roots and instead roll the leaves in clay and see women in the leaves... and uplifting words. Look closely now.
