Mysterious Sea Dance
This wallhanging of turtles and a dolphin was actually created earlier this year, but I am just getting around to glazing and raku firing it.Often, I have to "live" with a Piece for a little while before it is revealed how to glaze and fire it. I love the flow of this One. The message on the back says: "Life is filled with ups and downs. We are all learning the steps of a truly mysterious cosmic dance. Sometimes we flow effortlessly. Sometimes we step on each other's flippers! Keep on keepin on." Ironically, after I created the piece, we went to a chinese restaurant and the fortune that I received, actually said "Keep on keepin on." I still have it! Thoughts in mind produce in kind.....
