Transformation
These pieces are part of my collection of experimental pieces. Both face mask and breast plate were burnished with multiple layers of terra sig. and then pit fired with some trash... symbolically, we must go thru the Fires of Life to be transformed into a wiser, stronger, more authentically empowered Self. There appear to be clouds and mountains in the breast plate and the face has a dark and light side. The face mask is unencumbered by hair, but it is undeniably female.
