Caterpillar on citrus tree
The first time that I spotted this odd, grey and white caterpillar, I was shocked when I gently touched it and it seemed to stick out its tongue. Actually it emits a sour smell when it does this as a defense to communicate it is unpleasant to eat. Although it devours my citrus trees leaves, I feel there is more than enough and I let it live. It makes such a beautiful butterly eventually!
